Our client is a financial services company. We deliver technology solutions to run mission critical aspects of their IT functions and have a long-standing partnership. The network team works closely with the IT organization to monitor, manage, administrator, and provides operational support for the company networks.

This position often requires frequent off-hours activity and support. This includes working on items that can only be performed after 9 PM ET on weeknights or on weekends. At times, this requires physically being in the office after normal hours.

Our successful candidate has demonstrable experience in quickly ramping up with past client/employer organizations, with a keen ability to quickly learn security policies & procedures, and protocols.

Job Duties -- Configure, patch, support network devices

- Create and maintain network support documentation

- Updating and/or creating new firewall policies, DNS records and Access Control Lists

- Keeping network monitoring tools up to date with new and existing devices

- Following the change control process when making any changes on network devices

Job Requirements -- Associate's or Bachelor's degree or relevant hands on experience.

- Hybrid schedule 60/40: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

- Ability to collaborate with resources across multiple disciplines.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience engineering and supporting technologies from the following list:

Arista/Cisco Switching and Routing

Viptela SD-WAN Routing

Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls
