A Typical Day:The Network & AV Infrastructure Engineer oversees the development, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the company’s data and voice networks alongside all integrated Audio/Video solutions. This is a high-impact, hybrid role requiring a candidate who is equally comfortable managing enterprise firewalls and Cisco/Juniper switches as they are building out physical infrastructure for new office spaces.
Network Operations: Support and lead the implementation of a rapidly growing network and voice infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPNs, QoS, WAN Optimization, Firewalls, and VoIP).
Infrastructure Build-outs: Lead new office expansions, including equipment racking, AP installation, cable pulls, and professional termination (Ethernet, Coax, and Fiber).
AV Integration: Install, configure, and maintain conference room solutions, including mounting TVs, ceiling speakers, and security cameras.
Maintenance & Lifecycle: Execute planned network maintenance to minimize operational impact and ensure 24/7 uptime for data and voice services.
System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop scalable network designs, security policies, and AV-over-IP solutions.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose connectivity issues (Office, VPN, Open Internet) using tools such as Wireshark, Traceroute, and SNMP.
Physical Layer Diagnostics: Resolve hardware-level issues including signal loss, damaged cabling, and equipment malfunctions.
Security & Monitoring: Monitor firewall traffic and performance metrics using New Relic or similar monitoring solutions; implement changes as required.
Certifications: Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP) or Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) certifications are highly preferred.
Platform Experience: Experience with Juniper networking platforms and Access Control systems.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience within Financial Services or the Mortgage industry.
AV Standards: Familiarity with AV-over-IP, Dante, or specialized conference room hardware (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS, or Zoom/Teams Rooms).

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
