Title: Network Edge Project Manager New Commodity & NPI Ramp Support
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite

Job Description:

We are seeking a Network Edge Project Manager to provide New Commodity and NPI ramp support for customized Edge products deployed at Meta Points of Presence (PoPs). While these Edge products are primarily OEM-based, they involve a high degree of Meta-specific configuration and customization that requires dedicated program management and sourcing coordination.
This role will focus on managing the end-to-end readiness of these commodities-from qualification through mass production (MP) ramp-while ensuring sourcing, manufacturing, and engineering teams are aligned to support continuous product evolution. The ideal candidate will thrive in environments with non-standard NPI processes, managing fast-moving roadmaps and a steady stream of configuration updates.
Responsibilities:
Provide program management support for Network Edge commodities, from qualification through MP ramp.
Partner with sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure supplier readiness and alignment on new configuration releases.
Coordinate OEM engagement and sourcing enablement for customized Edge hardware based across Meta's PoPs.
Track readiness metrics, timelines, and risks associated with each Edge configuration release.
Establish repeatable processes and governance models for managing continuous configuration changes and ramp activities.
Drive communication between Network Engineering (NetEng), Sourcing, and MP teams to ensure smooth handoffs and transparency.
Maintain dashboards, trackers, and documentation for all active Edge commodity programs and roadmap items.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of program or project management experience in hardware, sourcing, or manufacturing operations.
Proven ability to manage OEM-based programs with custom configurations or frequent design changes.
Strong understanding of NPI qualification, sourcing enablement, and MP readiness.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and supply chain teams.
Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple concurrent product streams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Network Infrastructure, Edge Hardware, or Data Center platforms.
Prior exposure to Meta Infrastructure programs or similar large-scale hardware environments (e.g., Google, Apple, Amazon).
Background in supplier qualification, sourcing operations, or commodity management.
PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Technical background in electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering a plus.
TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.

WE THE TEKWISSEN PEOPLE

TekWissen offers you a broader portfolio of services, industry-leading solutions, and the meaningful innovations that give you greater flexibility and speed to respond to market dynamics, reduced costs and risk to improve enterprise performance, and increased productivity to enable growth.

To keep pace with global market demands, TekWissen keeps its finger on the pulse of change. Our organized approach to guiding a project from its inception to closure. Managing projects is becoming more and more important as we enter the digital era. To cope with the pace that this transition demands, a method is required to manage projects so they can yield quality work, while incorporating efficient use of time and resources.

Project involves identifying which quality standards are relevant to the project and determining how to satisfy them.

It is important to perform quality planning during the Planning Process and should be done alongside the other project planning processes because changes in the quality will likely require changes in the other planning processes, or the desired product quality may require a detailed risk analysis of an identified problem. It is important to remember that quality should be planned, designed, then built in, not added on after the fact.

Capabilities and accomplishments in one TekWissen business enhance the opportunity for success in the others. Put simply, TekWissen's unique combination of attributes promotes success.
