We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in Cisco Routing and Switching (R&S) Network Design. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in technical support roles, demonstrating expertise in network design, troubleshooting, and customer service. This contractor position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert level technical support for Cisco R&S network design and implementation.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and optimize network solutions.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Conduct training sessions for junior engineers and clients on Cisco R&S technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Cisco technologies to provide cutting edge solutions.
  • Assist in the development of network design proposals and presentations for clients.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching (R&S) Network Design.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving network issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS, NX OS, and related networking protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with network security protocols and technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking solutions and virtualization technologies.
  • Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
