We are looking for a well-rounded technical engineer with a strong foundation in networking or cybersecurity who wants to expand further across both domains. This role is well-suited for someone who understands core technical fundamentals, enjoys troubleshooting, and has the curiosity and discipline to learn new platforms, enterprise tools, and security technologies over time.
This position will support a Network Access Control system integrated with numerous networking, cybersecurity, and endpoint management systems. That platform evaluates policies and rules through system logic before determining how to control a device’s access or position based on compliance. We are not looking only for someone who already knows one product. We are looking for an engineer who can think logically, understand how systems interact, and work through complex technical problems. Direct experience with a specific NAC platform is not required. What matters most is a strong engineering mindset, sound troubleshooting ability, and a desire to learn how enterprise systems support both cybersecurity and networking missions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DHCP, DNS, and Layer 1, 2, and 3 concepts, as well as a working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals. They should also be interested in deepening their familiarity with Windows, Linux, enterprise integrations, and security-focused operational environments. This role is a strong fit for someone with sound computer logic, including Boolean logic, conditional thinking, and programmatic analysis, who enjoys figuring out why something works, why it fails, and how to improve it. Modern tools, including AI-assisted workflows, can help accelerate learning, but success in this role still depends on technical curiosity, disciplined reasoning, and the desire to continuously build expertise across multiple technologies.
