Position Description
Under the direction of the VP for Data Strategy and Enrollment Management, the Network Administrator oversees all functions of the technology department and is responsible for helping maximize the use/benefit of the school's network and systems to ensure timely and accurate decisions can be made based on that information. Responsible for project management related to the integration, implementation and maintenance of software programs and applications which are part of the organization's information systems.
The Network Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, security, and reliability of the Colleges technology infrastructure. This position administers network systems, servers, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, and enterprise technology platforms to ensure secure and efficient operations across the institution. The position works closely with the IT staff and campus departments to support institutional technology needs.
Position Essential Duties
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, with most work performed in a standard office environment. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional after-hours work may be required for software or hardware updates and installations. Travel for meetings or training may also be required, including some evening and weekend hours as needed.
Physical Demands:
Thedutiesofthisposition aresedentary to moderate innature;however,theemployee may have long periods of sitting and/or standing and may need to stand, bend, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Extensive data entry/typing. Sufficient vision and hearing are requiredtocompletetheworkandinteractwithstudents,staff,faculty,andthepublic.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10-50 pounds.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field and at least 3-5 years' work related experience or an equivalent of education and experience. Must demonstrate a positive,customer-service-oriented attitude;communicateeffectivelyandrelate welltostudents, employees, and others;workeffectively in an environment with frequentinterruptions, and buildrapportwith students.

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that the college's Annual Security Report which includes crime statistics be made available to prospective employees and prospective students upon request.
