Requisition Name: Network Administrator - Advanced Location :- Cayce, SC 29033 Interview Process: One round of virtual interviews with the camera on. Duration of the Contract: 12 Months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: Fully Onsite. Description DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: The network administrators for these openings, under the general guidance of the assigned Network Operations Center Manager, will coordinate daily/weekly assignments for the deployment, operational support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of the critical enterprise architecture. The network administrators will work with Network, Security, and other IT professional groups and non-IT staff to assist with problem resolution, mitigation of issues, and to provide technical solutions. The network administrator will ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time, and regularly provide progress, tasks, and deliverables status updates to the assigned project manager. Key Responsibilities** Specific duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Support enterprise network and identity initiatives including SD-WAN deployment, PKI lifecycle management, and secure authentication services Monitor, identify, and remediate issues with Agency enterprise network and identity services Support network connectivity and authentication services on Windows-based systems Support connectivity and secure access on mobile devices (i.e., Apple devices) Manage the network and identity infrastructure lifecycle at all stages Create and maintain network documentation (e.g., diagrams, coverage, and design documentation) Assist with deployment, configuration, and support of SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication solutions Perform enterprise network deployments, installations, and upgrades Requires comfort working on a ladder; ability to lift 40 lbs. Perform firmware/software/security/feature upgrades across network and identity platforms Monitor Agency trouble ticket system and complete assigned network, authentication, and connectivity tickets Serve as the Agency’s primary support resource for network and access-related (authentication) technical issues Assist Agency staff/contractors in resolving network, authentication, and connectivity-related problems Coordinate and assist with testing and validation of network and identity solutions Adhere to State and Agency security and IT policies and standards Work closely with key stakeholder groups including Network, Security, and Server Hosting Assist various IT groups with additional tasks such as system/network installations and upgrades (i.e., racking equipment) Create, maintain, and review/improve network and identity documentation Plan, organize, review, and implement project milestones to completion Provide updates to Project Team Perform other tasks and duties as assign Required Skills (Ranked) 1. 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure and LAN Administration 2. 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting switches and wireless access points 3. 3+ years of experience with SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services 4. 3+ years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity on Windows and mobile devices 5. 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining network documentation and diagrams Preferred Skills (Ranked) Industry certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft – indicate status on resume) Cisco Networking Academy or similar training / bootcamp Additional Skills Ability to perform physical network work (lifting up to 40 lbs, working on ladders) Valid driver’s license and ability to travel statewide Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical) Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Education Requirement** * Associate’s Degree in a relevant field **OR** * High School Diploma with equivalent work experience
