Job Title: NetSuite Architect / Senior Consultant
FLSA Status: Contractor (6 - 9 months)
Salary: $81/hour
Reports to: VP of Operations / Chief Technology Officer
Location: Onsite.
KULR Technology Location: Webster

Position Overview:
KULR is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on NetSuite Architect / Senior Consultant to lead a strategic 6-9-month initiative to redesign and optimize our NetSuite environment in support of the company's evolving manufacturing, engineering, and commercial operations. This role will serve as the technical and functional lead responsible for assessing the current state of NetSuite, identifying architectural gaps, and implementing scalable solutions that align with KULR's operational model and long-term growth objectives.
The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in NetSuite architecture, manufacturing operations, supply chain management, inventory control, finance, and business process optimization to evaluate existing system configurations, workflows, data structures, and integrations. This individual will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, and Finance teams to design and execute improvements that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, inventory management, production planning, and financial visibility.
This is a highly execution-oriented role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on implementation capabilities. Responsibilities include re-architecting key NetSuite processes, optimizing item master and bill-of-material structures, improving inventory and procurement workflows, streamlining approval processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and developing scalable solutions to support multiple product configurations, engineering revisions, certification programs, R&D activities, and production operations.
The NetSuite Architect / Senior Consultant will provide expert guidance on best practices, system design, process standardization, and change management while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships throughout the engagement. The ultimate objective is to deliver a sustainable, user-friendly NetSuite environment that accurately reflects KULR's business operations, reduces reliance on ongoing custom development, improves operational efficiency, and empowers internal teams to manage and scale the system confidently after project completion. Limited ongoing support may be provided through a post-engagement retainer relationship focused on incident resolution and continuous improvement.
Functions:
- Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, Program Management, Finance, and IT to assess current business processes, system requirements, and operational challenges.
- Evaluate and document the existing NetSuite environment, including item master data, bill of materials (BOMs), work orders, procurement processes, financial transactions, customizations, workflows, and third-party integrations.
- Develop and execute a strategic NetSuite optimization roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, implementation effort, risk, and operational dependencies.
- Lead the redesign and implementation of item master and part-number architecture to improve data integrity, support multi-vendor sourcing, and enhance inventory visibility and management.
- Establish scalable BOM, product configuration, and revision-control strategies that support engineering, manufacturing, procurement, compliance, and production requirements.
- Design and implement inventory management best practices, including common-stock inventory classification, min/max levels, reorder points, economic order quantities (EOQ), and warehouse optimization processes.
- Improve financial and operational reporting accuracy by optimizing cost-center structures, project accounting, work-order costing, fixed asset management, and R&D versus cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) attribution.
- Re-engineer purchasing, requisition, and approval workflows to support organizational growth, strengthen internal controls, improve user adoption, and increase operational efficiency.
- Configure and deploy NetSuite demand planning, reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights for Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and Finance leadership.
- Develop system documentation, standard operating procedures, and end-user training materials; train designated internal administrators and establish a post-implementation support framework to ensure long-term sustainability of the NetSuite environment.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
