At BioFire Defense, our workplace is as vibrant as our mission: casual vibes, intense execution, and a passion for IMPACT.

NetSuite Administrator

Company Overview:

At BioFire Defense we deliver a fully integrated suite of biological agent identification products, including BioFire FilmArray and RAZOR Mk II Systems to the biodefense and first responder community. Our products and services speed up medical results, help people stay healthy, and make communities more secure.

Job Summary:

We are a medical device manufacturer and government contractor implementing NetSuite as our new ERP, replacing a legacy system with a planned go-live by year-end. We're seeking a hands-on NetSuite Administrator to serve as the operational backbone-someone who thrives in daily system use, configuration, support, troubleshooting, and improvement. You'll collaborate with our implementation partners during deployment and then manage the environment alongside the Director of Business Systems. We welcome candidates early in their NetSuite careers with strong fundamentals and growth ambition, as well as experienced admins seeking meaningful impact.

You'll join a lean, high-ownership Business Systems team within a complex environment covering engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and project operations-all managed through NetSuite. As a DCAA-audited contractor, accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness are essential, and our custom manufacturing and shipping systems integrate directly with NetSuite, adding technical depth beyond typical mid-market implementations. You will report to the Director of Business Systems, contribute strategically and tactically, and grow as our NetSuite footprint expands. This is a hybrid, bonus eligible position.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Administration

  • Serve as the primary NetSuite system administrator, owning user access, roles, permissions, and security controls

  • Manage and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, KPIs, and workflows across business units

  • Handle system configuration, field customization, forms, and record types in support of business process needs

  • Monitor system health, manage integration error queues, and coordinate with internal and external technical teams on issue resolution

  • Support end users with questions, training, and issue triage on a daily basis

Implementation Support (Active Through Go-Live)

  • Work alongside our implementation partner and Business Systems Director to validate configurations, support UAT, and prepare the business for go-live

  • Help document business processes, configuration decisions, and training materials as we build out our internal NetSuite knowledge base

  • Assist with data migration validation, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization

Modules & Integrations

  • Support and administer all active NetSuite modules including: Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Projects, and Design to Build / Manufacturing

  • Support integrations between NetSuite and custom-built shipping and manufacturing execution software - working with developers and vendors to troubleshoot, test, and document integration behavior

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes through SuiteFlow (workflow manager), saved searches, and scripted solutions

  • Partner with department stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into NetSuite configurations or enhancement requests

  • Stay current on NetSuite release notes and evaluate new features relevant to our business

  • Maintain system documentation, change logs, and a clean, auditable configuration environment

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of demonstrable, hands-on NetSuite administration experience (not consulting-only, not adjacent)

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification (current) or actively in progress with a clear timeline to complete

  • Working knowledge of core NetSuite architecture: records, fields, forms, roles, workflows, searches, and reports

  • Experience with at least two of the following process areas: Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing / Design to Build, or Project Management

  • Comfort reading and interpreting integration logs, CSV imports, and basic SuiteScript output (you do not need to write scripts, but you should not be afraid of them)

  • Strong communication skills - you will interact with finance, operations, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders regularly

  • Detail-oriented with a bias toward documentation and clean system hygiene

  • Genuine enthusiasm for learning the platform and growing within it

Nice to have:

  • Experience in manufacturing and exposure to DCAA Compliance

  • Experience with SuiteFlow (workflow manager) and SuiteAnalytics

  • Experience Supporting third-party integrations and working with integration middleware or iPaaS platforms.

  • Experience with CSV Import tooling, data cleaning, and data governance practices

  • Experience with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse or NetSuite Planning and Budgeting

BioFire Defense LLC

BioFire Defense is committed to making the world a healthier and safer place. Our passion began to burn in 1990, in the corner of an Idaho potato equipment facility. We started out as Idaho Technology, Inc., developing products with a firm commitment to eliminate disease through smart thinking and product innovation. That spark quickly became an inferno as we introduced a number of “firsts” to the molecular diagnostics and biosurveillance industries. In 2012, we changed our name to BioFire Diagnostics, Inc. to reflect more accurately our outward passion and commitment.
