The NESARE Office Manager & Contract Lead provides administrative, contracting, and operational support for the Northeast SARE program.
This role involves coordinating grantee subaward contracting in compliance with USDA/NIFA and university requirements, maintaining grant documentation and databases, and supporting program communications and reporting.
Responsibilities include planning and managing large meetings/events, overseeing administrative budgets and office operations, and training staff in contracting and administrative procedures.
The position works closely with leadership, sponsored programs, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of related experience, proficiency with office applications, and strong organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications include effective communication skills. The role offers an anticipated pay of $25.00-$30.00/hour, with a 4-month probation, occasional out-of-state travel, and a hybrid work schedule. A background check is required.
