Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center Neonatology team is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our collaborative and dedicated team. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a Level II NICU with additional responsibilities in the well-baby nursery and delivery room. Following a structured orientation period, the NNP will be credentialed and work both independently and collaboratively with attending physicians, peers, and other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality specialty care to critically ill and newborn patients.
The NNP may order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies, as well as prescribe medications and interventions consistent with their scope of practice. This position functions in an inpatient critical care setting providing comprehensive neonatal care.
