Job Description:
Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont. This role includes daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries, and stabilizing newborns for transport to adjacent NICUs. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the location offers easy access to Charlotte and its amenities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide medical management of newborns in a Level-I Nursery.
- Conduct daily rounds on newborns and attend deliveries as requested.
- Stabilize and facilitate the transport of newborns to higher-level NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia.
- Work 24-hour shifts: in-house during the day and on-call from home.
- Collaborate with a team of NNPs and neonatologists at both Belmont and Gastonia locations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
- Current APRN National Specialty Certification (Board Certified NNP).
- NC license (or willingness to obtain).
- 2+ years of employment experience as an NNP required.
- Not accepting new graduate or locums candidates.
