Job Summary:We are seeking caring and reliable caregivers to provide companionship care to residents at a nursing facility. The main goal is to offer social interaction, encouragement, and support for residents’ hobbies and daily activities, helping them feel engaged and comfortable in their environment.
Flexible Schedule: 18hrs a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend time talking and engaging in conversation with residents.
- Play games, watch TV, or participate in hobbies and activities with residents.
- Make phone calls or assist residents with communication as needed.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement.
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ well-being to the facility staff or agency.
- Follow facility and agency policies, procedures, and care plans.
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain resident confidentiality.
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
