    MISTRAS Group has an immediate need for a dedicated NDT Coordinator for a full-time, nested position in Pasadena, TX.Applicants must be able to provide the following Documents:

    High School Diploma/GED/DegreeProof of classroom hours/Training in NDTPrevious level II certifications/OJT

    Required Responsibilities/Activities

    Must be willing to act on behalf of a Quality Management Analyst when neededHelp coordinate and execute FEAS assignmentsStep into NDE craft work when crews are busy to keep the job movingFlexibility is essential during outages, emergency work, and periods of heavy inspection demandMust be able to navigate refinery drawings, prepare documentation packages, and maintain organized electronic records.Must be able to judge incoming requests, determine justified work, and keep technicians aligned with real prioritiesThe role requires keeping Maintenance moving without delays, bad scheduling, or unauthorized work, while maintaining a steady hand over reports, requests, and technician utilization

    Major Responsibilities/ Activities

    Oversee daily Construction NDE activitiesKeep technician availability aligned with priority workSchedule NDE and RT assignmentsEnsure all documentation is accurate and compliantEnsure compliance with industry standards and safety regulationsSet up and calibrate equipmentConduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).Interpret, evaluate and documentMust be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level IMust be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by theIdentify and resolve problems in a timelyObtain and analyze informationEdit and present numerical data effectively
