Role Overview
As a Front End Web Designer/Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Creating, updating, and refreshing web component and user interface prototypes
- Building HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript for content management systems and enterprise products
- Collaborating across teams to ensure user interface consistency
- Conducting training sessions/webinars for NCDOT business customers
Requirements
- JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency: 5 years
- Vue.js experience: 3 years
- State management with signals or reactive stores: 4 years
- Web performance optimization: 3 years
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.2) best practices: 3 years
- User experience design: 3 years
- Integration with systems like SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint: 4 years
- AI-assisted development and workflow automation: 1 year
- Website Accessibility testing: 4 years
- Semantic HTML structure and accessibility foundations: 5 years
- Modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, variables, theming): 5 years
