Operated different types of cranes, including Tadano ATF100G-4, ATF130G-5, Manitowoc 999MLC300, and Grove 9076-5. Reads and understands load charts for lifting type equipment. Tilts, dips, and turns suspended loads to maneuver over, under, or around obstacles using multiple point rigging techniques. Performs different rigging challenges and assists with rigging, driving forklifts, and operating equipment on top of the crane.

Cabduties: • Brings problems and concerns to the attention of the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Director. • Follows daily procedures, asset for thin job orientations and trainings. • Performs routine inspections on assigned equipment and notifies supervisor of defects or needed repairs. • Cleans and maintains equipment regularly. • Adheres to the companys safety policies and OSHA safety procedures to create an accident-free work environment.

Education and Certification: High School Diploma or GED required. National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCO) certification required. National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) rigging certification plus. Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and characteristics to operate heavy equipment.

Obtain proper training and certifications prior to operating equipment. Experience with variety rigging equipment - shackles, straps, slings, rope hoists. Strong working knowledge of lifting signals and communications. Considerable knowledge of crane operating principles.

Requirements: • Maintain a valid drivers license and clear driving record. • Operators must have good eyesight, hearing, and better than average coordination to operate both hand and foot levers simultaneously. • Must have the necessary dexterity and fine motor skills. • Operators must have good judgment to perform complicated tasks and must be able to work closely with other crafts without constant supervision. • Operators must be alert, constantly and observant of their surroundings. • Ability to work in an environment where the noise level is generally loud. • Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may require overnight stays away from home. • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. • Must have a good work ethic and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions.
