Natural Gas Apprentice Location: Georgetown, DE or Salisbury, MD

What youll be working on: • Assist in the installation, inspection, and repair of natural gas pipelines and related infrastructure, including installing remote meter reading devices, meter reading, line locating, painting meters. • Learns to detect and respond to gas leaks using specialized equipment. • Supports routine maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced technicians including, traffic control, landscaping, stocking of trucks with equipment, supplies and tools. • Operates hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. • Participates in emergency response activities as needed. • Documents work performed and maintain accurate records.
Who you are: • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Basic computer skills • Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely • Able to work within a diverse workforce • Some knowledge of hand tools or maintenance acumen • Ability to follow all safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
