We are seeking a seasoned, dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to join our thriving Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our national sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the team to meet and exceed sales objectives, developing strategic sales plans, and forecasting sales performance. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is eager to apply their skills in Lead Generation, Quota Attainment, Cold Calling, and Contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the national sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned territories and sectors.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Provide innovative ideas and suggestions to improve the market presence.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to ensure the efficiency of marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to assess their performance and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and negotiate contracts to secure the most efficient terms.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in Lead Generation, Quota Attainment, Cold Calling, and Contractors.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) and CRM software.
  • Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Able to travel as needed.
