Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven National Sales Consultant to help grow our presence across K-12 schools and districts in the United States. In this role, you will connect with customers to understand their challenges and demonstrate how our software can help improve library operations and resource management for schools.

Softlink partners with Mackin, a leading K-12 library solutions provider in the United States. Through this partnership, MackinVision is delivered to US schools with Mackin's trusted support and relationships.

Job Description:

Reporting to the US Operations Manager, you will contribute to driving new and expansion sales for MackinVision, a Library & Asset Management SaaS platform. This role works in close partnership with Mackin, our primary US reseller and a market-leading provider of K-12 library solutions, including collaborating with their State Sales Representatives throughout the deal process.

You will:

Manage opportunities through the sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, presenting solutions, nurturing, and closing. Deliver tailored and engaging demos to district, library, and IT audiences. Contribute to RFP responses where required. Establish credibility with decision-makers by deeply understanding operational challenges and positioning value. Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge to support strong, informed conversations. Collaborate closely with Mackin State Sales Reps to build relationships, progress opportunities, and support shared success. Work with Product and Client Services teams to deliver solutions and close deals. Develop and execute sales strategies to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Maintain accurate sales pipelines and provide insightful market feedback to inform business strategy.

Provide a smooth transition from deal closure through to handover for implementation.

About You

4+ years' experience in B2B software sales; experience in the K-12 education sector is highly desirable. Track record of achieving or exceeding targets. Skilled in consultative selling, with the ability to uncover client needs and present compelling solutions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple opportunities and priorities. Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly. Communicating technical information to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand way. Experience using CRM tools and a data-driven approach to sales. Ability and willingness to travel domestically. Valid driver's license required.
