Position Summary: The Operations Manager, National Accounts is responsible for leading, coordinating, and optimizing operational execution across Roofed Right America's national customer portfolio. This role ensures consistent service delivery, operational alignment, and performance standards across multiple regions and business units. The Operations Manager acts as the central operational liaison for national clients while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Operations, Estimating, Procurement, Safety, and Finance to support enterprise-level national account growth and efficiency.
This position requires strong operational leadership, strategic planning, project oversight, and the ability to manage multi-site workflows while traveling nationally to support clients, crews, and field operations.
The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities:
National Operational Oversight
Oversee day-to-day operational activities affecting national accounts, ensuring consistent execution, quality, compliance, and timelines across all RRA locations.
Develop, implement, and maintain national operational standards, workflows, and processes to ensure consistent customer experience nationwide.
Assign, monitor, and measure weekly performance goals and KPIs for national account-related work.
Ensure resource allocation, staffing support, equipment needs, and cross-regional coordination are aligned to national account requirements.
Project & Portfolio Management
Oversee the creation of project scopes, deliverables, and communication protocols for national account projects.
Ensure accurate and timely project documentation, including schedules, specifications, job packets, and operational records.
Support project planning, scheduling, production tracking, cost forecasting, and risk mitigation for national projects.
Collaborate with regional Project Managers to align national priorities, resolve operational issues, and ensure consistent execution.
Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management
Serve as an operational point of contact for national clients, ensuring communication is clear, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Conduct site visits, project walk-throughs, and client reviews across multiple markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, and internal leaders.
Provide national-level updates, reporting, and performance summaries to internal and external stakeholders.
Operational Performance & Compliance
Ensure OSHA, safety, and environmental requirements are followed consistently across all projects and service teams.
Oversee adherence to company policies, installation standards, quality expectations, and national account-specific requirements.
Track operational performance using tools, dashboards, and systems to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain safe and compliant work environments, enforcing corrective actions when necessary.
Financial Management
Support national forecasting, budgeting, and cost-control efforts for national account operations.
Monitor labor budgets, production goals, and material planning for national programs.
Analyze variances, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective strategies to improve margins and performance.
Oversee or support purchase orders, material orders, and workflow approval steps for national accounts.
Leadership & Team Development
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to regional teams supporting national accounts.
Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure accountability to RRA standards, values, and expectations.
Support cross-regional alignment, ensuring consistent communication, training, and execution.
Foster a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Additional Duties
Participate in national travel for site assessments, meetings, project reviews, and operational support (50%-70%).
Assist with escalations, high-priority operational issues, or urgent client needs.

Required:
Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of progressive operational or project management experience
Commercial roofing and/or construction management experience
OSHA certification or ability to obtain
Proven leadership experience supervising field operations and multi-site project teams
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management software
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Demonstrated success in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance oversight
Ability to travel nationally 50%-70%
Valid Driver's License
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree (Business, Construction Management, or related field).
Experience conducting detailed roof surveys and working on ladders/rooftops safely.
Multi-site national account experience strongly preferred.
