Position Overview:
At UES, we’re poised to significantly expand our footprint in the data center sector—and we’re looking for a strategic leader to drive that growth.
As the National Growth Leader – Data Centers, you will help lead and execute our national data center strategy, combining market-facing business development with strong technical and project delivery insight. You’ll be the connector between our clients’ development needs and UES’s capabilities.
In this role, you will lead national business development efforts across hyperscale and colocation markets while partnering closely with our technical teams to shape smart, deliverable solutions. You will build and deepen relationships with key owners, developers, operators, and design partners; help qualify and prioritize opportunities; and work with regional operations leaders to position UES for major programs and multi-site portfolios.
We’re looking for a leader who brings both industry connectivity and technical credibility—someone who can sit comfortably with hyperscale and colocation decision-makers, speak their language around site selection, power, permitting, and risk, and then translate that into clear scopes and win strategies with our internal teams.
Responsibilities:Strategic Growth: Develop and execute national plans to expand the Data Center sector, identifying high-value technical opportunities and project leads.
Client Engagement: Establish and maintain deep-seated relationships with key industry stakeholders through direct engagement and presence at major industry conferences.

Market Intelligence: Track industry trends and market developments to inform both strategic planning and technical execution
Proposal Leadership: Collaborate with national account managers to craft winning proposals, presentations, and client outreach strategies
Operational Excellence: Lead through influence across the organization to ensure technical quality and project milestones are achieved
Process Optimization: Drive the standardization of proposal templates and estimating tools to ensure a consistent, professional national response
