The National Accounts Manager- Retail is responsible for leading retail sales strategies across brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels, managing key retail partnerships, and driving category growth to meet sales and profitability goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing retail sales strategies to expand market share and profitability
- Identifying new retail opportunities and setting annual goals and KPIs
- Managing relationships with major retailers, negotiating contracts, and collaborating on merchandising
- Partnering with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to support promotional efforts and ensure product availability
- Overseeing e-commerce partnerships and digital merchandising strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years in sales, with 5+ years in retail channel leadership, preferably in automotive or durable goods
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 40%
Preferred background includes established retail relationships, experience with marketing budgets, POS data analysis, and knowledge of automotive consumer behavior.
