Nanny Position

Location: Greater Palm Springs, CA
Compensation: $30–35/hour
Commitment: Long-term, part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours/week

Position Overview

A family in the greater Palm Springs area is seeking an experienced, dependable long-term Nanny to care for their three children, ages 3, 4, and 5. The 5-year-old has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 2), and the ideal candidate will have experience supporting a child with additional needs, along with patience, consistency, and a warm, engaging approach. This is an afternoon role, Monday through Friday, in a household where a parent works from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging care for three children (ages 3, 4, and 5)
• Support the daily needs and routines of a child with ASD (Level 2)
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and play
• Assist with light meal/snack preparation for the children
• Maintain a safe, tidy environment in the children's areas
• Support consistent afternoon routines

Requirements

• Proven experience caring for multiple young children
• Experience supporting a child with additional/special needs strongly preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit long-term
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
