Amazon's North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is looking for a Finance Manager to be a trusted finance partner supporting operational and functional leaders. Key job responsibilities

You use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, and drive improvements.

You partner with the Regional Finance Manager to help develop and execute weekly and monthly financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating to Financial and Operations partners.

You identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards.

You identify the need for improved controls to address risk driven by business, industry, policy, and regulatory changes and proactively propose control solutions.

You create effective business partnership, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.

Business Analysis

You identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations.

You understand how data flows through our financial platforms and know the right data to use for analysis, and establish a source of truth.

You simplify and centralize process improvement and reporting to allow business partners and customers to take action quickly.

You solve complex problems effecting company wide strategic decision-making, lead through ambiguity, identify high priority work to maximize results for key stakeholders, design and implement new financial reporting/modeling, and find creative solutions utilizing large scale data mining tools.

People

You take part in hiring and developing activities and mentor new team members.

You seek, value, and leverage diverse perspectives.

You challenge business partner plans and assumptions when needed.

You communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner both verbally and in writing.

You can articulate complex finance issues to non-Finance partners.

You positively contribute to work/life harmony on your team and find creative solutions to solve gaps for your team.

Amazon Robotics Sortable (ARS): ARSs are highly-productive FCs where the items are stored in AR Pods moved by robots to the associate"s position, hence the associate does not need to walk to pick the product. The primary functions of an ARS is to receive the items, stow and then pick them from the robotic floor where they are stored and pack them to ship.
