Job Position: Music Teacher
Location: Rockford, IL 61107
Pay Rate: W2, hourly; starting at $32/hour & up (based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher for a full-time, school-year position. This role offers the opportunity to create engaging and meaningful musical experiences while fostering creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality music instruction, encourage student participation, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with appropriate Music endorsement
Experience teaching music in an educational setting preferred

Plan and deliver engaging music instruction aligned with state and district standards
Foster students' musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for music
Incorporate vocal, instrumental, rhythmic, and movement-based activities as appropriate
Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Prepare students for performances, concerts, or other music-related events when applicable
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators to support student success
