The MU - Si. C Equipment Engineer will be primarily responsible for the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, monitoring, evaluation & qualification, as well as procurement of new and used semiconductor fabrication equipment. This position supports production and research operations at a silicon carbide semiconductor fabrication facility. Duties include interaction with semiconductor equipment manufacturers as well as equipment third party vendors. The position will establish close contact with specialty field service engineers to commission and maintain fabrication tools. This position will ensure that the equipment functions safely and reliably within the various fabrication process modules. The position will assist with the integration of fabrication equipment into the MU - Si. C process workflow at state-of-the-art research facility at the University of Arkansas.
