Holliston High School's award-winning Theatre 370 is seeking a talented, visionary, and collaborative Music Director to lead the vocal and orchestral journey for our Fall Musical production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who loves to teach and work with high school students in a musical theatre production process, beginning immediately through November performances
• The ideal candidate will have a positive approach and establish a professional and engaging working environment that is process-oriented and empowers student leadership
• Seeking musicians with the ability to teach and guide singers through score, prioritizing vocal health for young performers

Responsibilities

• Act as vocal coach and music director to teach music during the process
• Conduct the pit during performances
• Hire pit musicians and recruit student musicians
• Collaborate with the Director and Choreographer to develop a plan and vision for the show
• Attend production meetings with the production staff throughout the process
• Coordinate auditions and cast the production with the Director and Choreographer
• Create and coordinate a rehearsal schedule with the Director and Choreographer
• Oversee tech week and production week, including sitzprobe
