A Municipal Design Engineer, designs and manages infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, and water systems, ensuring safety and efficiency, while collaborating with various stakeholders and adhering to municipal standards and regulations.
Municipal Design Engineer
Position Type: Full Time
Office: Malvern, and Easton, PA
Salary Range: $60,000 to $90,000 annually
Responsibilities:
• Design tasks include stormwater and detention basin, and infrastructure rehabilitation, various state and local permitting.
• Report preparation.
• Preparation of permit applications.
• Review of subdivision plans and utility plans submitted by developers for approval.
• Review development plans for conformance with local ordinances, including subdivision and land development, zoning, grading, stormwater, escrow accounts, construction administration.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in site civil or municipal design
• Proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal type projects.
• Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred.
