Multimedia Journalist, KMTV

Seeking a Multimedia Journalist to research, write, shoot, and edit compelling stories across multiple platforms in Omaha, Nebraska.

Responsibilities:

• Develop story ideas from leads and tips, verify facts through interviews and research, organize content, and write according to editorial standards.
• Capture video and photos, edit videos, and appear on-air for taped or live reports.
• Collaborate with photographers, assist with newscast prep, and support online multimedia content.
  
  Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years preferred.
• Proficiency in newsroom systems, videography, editing, and broadcast writing.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments, lift up to 50 pounds, and hold a valid driver’s license.
