Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
City: Orange County, CA
Range of Pay: $24.00 to $25.00
Hours are:
Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weekend availability a must as schedules are subject to change
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary:
We are hiring for an experienced Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance & repair of apartment communities. The ideal candidate will have general technical aptitude, problem solving ability and positive attitude to handle day-to-day maintenance needs of an apartment community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare apartment units for move-in, which can consist of drywall patching, painting, caulking tubs/showers, changing lighting fixtures, replacing toilet seats, and installing smoke detectors
- Completion of day-to-day maintenance requests such as replacing GFIs, snaking tubs and toilets, repairing plumbing leaks, troubleshooting electrical issues, replacing garbage disposals, and repairing/installing other appliances
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow directions and complete work orders
- Knowledge of all general plumbing and electrical
- Experience with drywall and paint
- HVAC and HVAC/R knowledge +PLUS not required
- Experience working with high/low voltage systems +PLUS not required
