    The Multicraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and facility systems. This role requires proficiency across multiple skilled trades, including electrical, instrumentation, control systems, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, automation equipment, and facility systems

    • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

    • Diagnose electrical issues including motors, PLC I/O, sensors, controls, and power distribution

    • Repair and maintain mechanical systems such as gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, and compressors

    • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems including valves, cylinders, regulators, and actuators

    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

    • Perform fabrication, and machining tasks as required

    • Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS

    • Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations

    • Communicate effectively with operations, engineering, and leadership teams

    • Respond to emergency repairs and participate in on-call or shift coverage as required

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship preferred

    • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

    • Demonstrated experience in electrical, instrumentation, control systems, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work

    • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)

    • Industrial maintenance certifications or journeyman status

    • Experience with CMMS systems

    • Forklift, lift, or confined space certifications

    • Master or Certified Electrical License

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    Work is performed in an industrial or manufacturing environment around moving machinery, high voltage, noise, heat, and chemicals. The role requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, and responding quickly to equipment failures while wearing required PPE.
