The Impact You’ll Make

• Lead full-cycle payroll operations for salaried and hourly teams.
• Keep employee data current and accurate—from hires and separations to compensation updates and direct deposit changes.
• Ensure clean time data by verifying digital timesheets and correcting variances.
• Administer all deductions, including benefits, retirement (401(k)), and court-ordered garnishments.
• Execute payroll tax responsibilities by computing and filing federal, multi-state, and local payroll taxes in compliance with governing rules.
• Deliver financial and compliance reporting: build payroll metrics, post monthly payroll-related journal entries, and prepare W-2s and related annual tax documents.
• Safeguard data integrity through periodic system audits and by furnishing evidence to external corporate auditors.
• Champion employee service by answering questions on pay distribution, tax withholdings, and benefit disbursements.

Skills That Set You Up for Success

• CPP, FPC, or NACPB Certified Payroll Specialist credential
• Command of FLSA, multi-state taxation, and local employment regulations
• Advanced Excel, database administration strengths, and grounding in financial accounting

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2–5 years of hands-on corporate payroll experience
