Job Summary:

The Multi-Site Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations across multiple locations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials, delivery processing, and inventory accuracy. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, physically demanding environments. The position includes approximately 50% travel to support operations in other cities and warehouse sites.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operations & Logistics

  • Lead and coordinate material handling activities including receiving, storing, and distributing materials across multiple warehouse locations and business models to include AAA, BMW, and VCA.
  • Oversee and pull orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse environments to support operational efficiency.
  • Assist with Service Route Representative warehouses for consistency and process alignment.
  • Travel to off-site warehouse locations for operational support, training, and inventory activities (approximately 50%).

Inventory Management

  • Support inventory control efforts and assist in cycle counts and audits.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Train and mentor team members on proper handling techniques and safety procedures.
  • Coordinate daily workload and delegate tasks to team members.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Take initiative to identify process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of workplace health and safety. Following all OSHA standards.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
  • Forklift and Pallet Jack experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, transfer and maneuver batteries and other materials weighing between 50-75 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, and use of legs, hands, and arms to operate warehouse equipment, and secure loads.
  • Ability to push and pull cart full of batteries and horizontally transfer batteries requiring a force up to 75 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking within the warehouse.

Travel

  • Over 50% travel

Work Environment

  • Warehouse setting, with large equipment and machinery constantly in use.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
