As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Multi-Site Certified Medical Assistant to support our Pediatric teams across our Jasper, Canton, and Woodstock locations.
The Multi-Site Certified Medical Assistant plays a key role in providing high-quality clinical support to our Pediatric providers and patients. This position requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while traveling between Pediatric offices as needed.
Room patients and obtain age-appropriate vital signs and growth measurements
Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits and procedures
Administer vaccines and medications within scope of practice
Perform point-of-care testing, including:
Strep testing
Influenza testing
COVID-19 testing
RSV testing
Urinalysis
Perform hearing and vision screenings
Administer nebulizer treatments
Perform ear irrigations
Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record
Maintain exam room cleanliness, stocking, and readiness
Manage vaccine inventory and maintain compliance with VFC requirements
Utilize GRITS for vaccine documentation and reconciliation
Support minor procedures and instrument sterilization processes
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
Collaborate effectively with providers and team members across multiple locations
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
Minimum of two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
Current BLS/CPR certification
Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records
Ability to travel between Jasper, Canton, and Woodstock locations as needed
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Epic EHR experience
Experience with Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and Services (GRITS)
Experience with Vaccines for Children (VFC) program requirements
Previous multi-site healthcare experience
