Now Hiring Multi Craft Maintenance Technician

Location: Russellville, AR

Pay Rate: $31.69 - $36.67 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM | Rotating Shift

JW Aluminum is a leading producer of specialty flat-rolled aluminum products used in a wide variety of consumer and commercial applications. Currently, we have an immediate and exciting need for a Maintenance Technician at our facility located in Russellville, AR. We are looking for a team-oriented professional with an exemplary track record of success in safety and regulatory compliance to join our team.

Bring This:

  • High school diploma or GED, supplemented by two (2) to three (3) years of work experience in a manufacturing environment with automation, calibrated instrumentation, electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of PLC logic, industrial automation, and control systems, in-line measurement systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, etc., is a plus.
  • Able to systematically troubleshoot problems for highly technical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Preferably able to safely operate a forklift and an aerial lift on occasion.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Do This:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics/blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment, as required; Assuring that all operations and utilities equipment complies with minimum safety & operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of equipment maintenance activities.
  • Assist in writing and reviewing of operational and safety JSAs on plant Equipment; improves procedures and develops new JSAs based on observations and experiences.
