Job description


Team members perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role applies mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic/PLC skills to troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, install, and maintain equipment; supports production through preventative maintenance and timely repairs; works collaboratively with maintenance team members, operations, engineers, and contractors; and performs all work in compliance with union contract requirements, safety policies, environmental regulations, and plant procedures.


Shift: 2nd: 3pm-11pm OR 3rd: 11pm-7am


Compensation: depending on the level of experience --


Tech I: $25.55


Tech II: $27.47


Tech III: $33.12


Job Location: Little Rock, AR

Essential Duties:


+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic (PLC) systems

+ Perform inspections, lubrication, and scheduled preventative maintenance activities

+ Dismantle, rebuild, repair, or fabricate components such as pumps, motors, drives, compressors, and piping

+ Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks safely and efficiently

+ Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, controls, drives, and power distribution

+ Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings

+ Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production needs to minimize downtime

+ Document work performed, parts used, and labor in the CMMS

+ Maintain spare parts, tools, and supplies using proper inventory practices

+ Operate forklifts and maintenance shop equipment safely as required

+ Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with SOPs, JSAs, permits, and work instructions

+ Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives

+ High School Diploma or GED preferred

+ Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

+ Demonstrated mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

+ Basic welding and fabrication skills

+ Basic computer skills, including CMMS experience

+ Ability to work overtime, rotating shifts, on‑call, and weekends as required

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including climbing, bending, and working in awkward positions

+ Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing environment

+ Must follow all safety, environmental, housekeeping, and operational standards
