Step into a precision manufacturing environment where your decisions keep complex parts moving. As the Multi‑Axis CNC Operations Manager, you’ll guide a 30‑person team of operators and engineers, elevate quality, and push continuous improvement across milling, turning, and grinding.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
Start by aligning production priorities and capacity across multi‑axis CNC cells.
Walk the floor to remove bottlenecks, fine‑tune setups, and reduce changeover time.
Partner with engineering and quality on tooling strategies, in‑process probing, and CAD/CAM optimization to hit demanding tolerances.
Coach team leads, develop talent, and reinforce standard work and safety.
Review ERP data to manage inventory levels and keep material flowing to each machine center.
Audit processes against ISO 9001 requirements and drive corrective actions.
