Title: MuleSoft Sr Developer / Lead

Pay Range: $45 - $50/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and deliver enterprise integration and API solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API development, enterprise integration, CloudHub, on-premise MuleSoft deployments, event-driven architectures, and financial services integrations. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and solution design for enterprise integration projects.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing API and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and support MuleSoft APIs and integration services across CloudHub and on-premise environments.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and enterprise applications such as FIS, EPP, and other financial platforms.
  • Perform hands-on coding, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct code reviews, review design and mapping documents, and validate unit testing results.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, development best practices, and project quality guidelines.
  • Coordinate solution walkthroughs, demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing sessions with QA and business teams.
  • Drive project delivery, proactively manage risks, and ensure successful implementation within project timelines.
  • Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support production deployments, issue resolution, and continuous platform improvements.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in API development and enterprise integration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Experience with CloudHub and On-Premise MuleSoft deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and API-led connectivity.
  • Experience designing secure APIs with authentication, authorization, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Expertise in API performance tuning, vCore optimization, and high-volume transaction processing.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
  • Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
