\u2022 The individual(s) will be responsible for technical assignments to support production, design, test and other engineering activities. Supporting the production line, Testing equipment(setup, support and improvement) for MRO(Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) product; encompassing aircraft power generation and power distribution components. Job Location: Sarasota, FL. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: \u2022 Advise, direct, and train MRO personnel in repair and test techniques/methods on behalf of the repair station per Title 14 CFR Parts 21, 43, 121 and 145. \u2022 Review maintenance manuals and related documents to establish repair capabilities per the applicable product standard, FAA or EASA regulation and the established technical evaluation procedures. \u2022 Assist and Develop procedures for repair and testing. Documentation to be used by Operations personnel. \u2022 Work closely with Operations and Quality to ensure repair and testing processes are performed in accordance with Safran Quality documents and return to service criteria. \u2022 Assist and Design, modify, and prototype tooling required for use in the maintenance and repair of aircraft electromechanical and hydraulic products. \u2022 Specify, develop and modification of test equipment for use on various aircraft components. \u2022 Continuously improve production efficiency and quality to meet key metrics. \u2022 Assist in creating major repairs with DER and PMA submittals. \u2022 Communicate technical data issues to the design authority and ensure updates are completed. \u2022 Work seamlessly with offsite engineering team for support and approval when necessary. \u2022 Perform other duties as assigned. \u2022 Mentor interns. \u2022 Regular, predictable attendance is required. \u2022 Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: \u2022 Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution. \u2022 Minimal experience in a manufacturing environment working as an engineer in a regulated industry. \u2022 Hands-on capability with troubleshooting and solving technical problems related to manufacturing and assembly defects \u2022 Self-starter, drive for excellence and good organizational skills \u2022 Knowledge with basic tooling including measuring equipment, drawing interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) \u2022 Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD package \u2022 Ability to collect and interpret data necessary for problem solving. \u2022 Knowledge of fabrication, assembly and test processes, tooling, and equipment. \u2022 Ability to provide component, assembly, tooling, and equipment cost estimates. \u2022 Good communication skills (verbal, written, and computer). \u2022 Ability to interpret complex information and convey a simplified message to team members of varying technical expertise \u2022 Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. \u2022 Ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting schedules and priorities while maintaining cross-organizational support to complete tasks. \u2022 Understands electrical theory as it relates to product requirements \u2022 Good presentation skills. \u2022 Effective project management skills. \u2022 Excellent time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: \u2022 Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution and (1-2) years of experience working as engineer in \u2022 Understanding of electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting a plus \u2022 Experience with PTC CREO, CATIA, SolidWorks, Configuration Control, PLM system, SAP. \u2022 Fluent French and/or Spanish
