Overview

Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnosis and treatment requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative. Additional Essential Job Functions: Perform imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, collaborating with physician to evaluate images and report abnormalities immediately Follow established protocols for all imaging equipment, performing all routine daily, weekly, monthly and periodic maintenance and functions checks Demonstrate proficiency at inserting and maintaining IVs Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with CLIA regulations and established policies and procedures Ensure proper supplies, appropriate medical equipment and medications are available for patient care and Par levels meet facility needs Participates in QAPI activities including participation in accreditation preparation and survey process, and maintenance of accreditation, state, and CMS standards Adheres to established facility/departmental policies and procedures Attends and participates in all applicable facility meetings,'training and development workshops Performs all other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:: Required advanced MRI certification upon hire. Prefer at least one year of experience as MRI Technologist. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose Licensure/Certification/Registration:: Required ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered technologist. Must have current BLS certification.
