MRI Technician

Required Skills:
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience performing MRI procedures within a specialized setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient positioning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to operate MRI equipment efficiently and troubleshoot technical issues
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with advanced MRI software and imaging techniques
- Bilingual capabilities to better serve diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiography, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of prior MRI technologist experience in a hospital, imaging center, or similar healthcare environment
Other Requirements:
- No local candidates within 50 miles due to job location constraints
- Valid licensure and certification to practice as an MRI Technician
- Willingness to work a schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, for a 13-week assignment
- Additional reimbursements for travel, licensure, and certification-related expenses when applicable
