Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: Days, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours/week (5x8s)
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles of the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• ARRT (MRI) Certification Required

Position Overview

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established imaging protocols. The technologist will work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to provide accurate diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure patient safety by following MRI screening and safety procedures
• Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
• Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and provide excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, safety standards, and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills

Note: Candidates must possess all required certifications and have recent MRI experience within their specialty area.
