Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI / Radiology / Cardiology Technologist for a contract assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and support physicians in obtaining high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI and/or radiology imaging procedures as per department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening before procedures
- Review and verify imaging quality and technical accuracy
- Maintain proper documentation and imaging records
- Transfer images to PACS and ensure timely reporting
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams
- Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of MRI / Radiology / Cardiology imaging experience
- Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and patient positioning
- Ability to work in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience with PACS preferred
- Strong communication and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
