Job Summary – MRI / Radiology / Cardiology Technologist (Contract)

Location: Eureka, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (3x12s)
Hours: 10:30 AM – 10:30 PM (36 hours/week)


Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI / Radiology / Cardiology Technologist for a contract assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and support physicians in obtaining high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI and/or radiology imaging procedures as per department protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging studies
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening before procedures
  • Review and verify imaging quality and technical accuracy
  • Maintain proper documentation and imaging records
  • Transfer images to PACS and ensure timely reporting
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams
  • Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of MRI / Radiology / Cardiology imaging experience
  • Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and patient positioning
  • Ability to work in an acute care hospital setting
  • Experience with PACS preferred
  • Strong communication and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
