Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MRI/CT/X-Ray Technologist to join a collaborative radiology team in a community-focused healthcare setting. This position is ideal for a motivated imaging professional who enjoys working in a smaller hospital environment, values autonomy, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, including MRI, CT, and X-ray, while working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI, CT, and X-ray equipment.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.
- Follow established imaging protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Assist with equipment quality control and routine maintenance.
- Participate in the department's on-call rotation for holidays and vacation coverage.
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- Minimum 3+ years of diagnostic imaging experience
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Positive attitude with a flexible, team-oriented approach
- Willingness to relocate to Moab, UT (if not currently local)
Preferred:
- Previous experience performing MRI and CT imaging
- Multi-modality imaging experience
- Cross-training in MRI and CT (training may be available for qualified candidates)
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, non-exempt position
- Day shift, Monday through Friday
- Flexible scheduling with either:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts, or
- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Final schedule will be determined in collaboration with the selected candidate and departmental staffing needs.
- Participation in an on-call rotation for holidays and vacation coverage.
