Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Materials and Processes Engineer to support a wide range of non-destructive evaluation (NDE) and measurement technology applications for aerospace products. The successful candidate will be a self-starter focused on technical writing within a manufacturing environment. This role involves developing technical procedures for airline customer maintenance, drafting reference standards, and supporting the entire product lifecycle from research to active airframe support.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited course of study in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering is required.
Experience: A minimum of nine years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or seven years with a Master's degree. Must have a strong background in technical writing within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Technical Skills: Candidates must have experience with either Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) or previous experience with our organization's Materials & Processes (M&P). An ASNT Level 3 certification in eddy current or ultrasonics is a strong requirement.
