Position Overview:

First Palmetto Bank has a robust mortgage operation and a top-of-the-industry pay structure. We are seeking mortgage loan processors to help serve the greater Columbia, SC and Greenville, SC areas.

The mortgage industry continues to grow and provides an excellent career path. In this role, you will

• Review residential mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with investor and agency guidelines.
• Collect, analyze, and verify borrower income, asset, credit, and employment documentation.
• Coordinate third-party services including appraisals, title work, flood certifications, insurance, and verification of employment.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting submission and manage all underwriting conditions through final approval.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and vendors to obtain required documentation and provide loan status updates.
