Your experience includes:

• Must be eligible for NMLS Registration.
• One (1) year or more of work experience in mortgage processing or closing is required.
• A bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field is required. In lieu of a bachelors degree, an equivalent number of years of experience in a mortgage role is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills and the ability to work in a diverse community.
• Passion for providing outstanding service and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution.
• Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed.
• Effective time management and flexibility to work department hours.

What you will do:

As the Mortgage Loan Closer, youll manage the mortgage loan closing process from start to finish, ensuring each loan closes accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. Youll work closely with members, title companies, loan officers, and other partners to coordinate closings, review documents, and fund loans while addressing any issues that arise. Youll also handle post-closing activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure members understand their loan termshelping provide a smooth, professional experience and strengthening relationships with the credit union.
