Responsible for research, legal support, and processing of approximately 400 accounts totaling over $43 million, primarily servicing Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, VA, and others.
Key duties include evaluating account characteristics, preparing Proof of Claim, monitoring court updates, applying payments, resolving payment disputes, and auditing accounts for inaccuracies.
Communicates effectively with customers, attorneys, and internal teams, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulations such as RESPA and CFPB.
Requires 2-3 years of banking or legal bankruptcy experience, knowledge of federal bankruptcy law, mortgage servicing restrictions, and strong analytical skills.
