POSITION

Mortgage Loan Officer
W-2 | Direct Placement | Multiple Markets

The average loan officer stays here more than seven years. In this industry, two is the norm. That number is worth stopping on.

Most producing LOs aren't actively looking—they're just quietly frustrated. Limited product that costs them deals. Pricing that puts them a quarter-point behind at the table. A culture where the top producer gets treated like royalty and everyone else gets managed to a mandatory weekly call. If any of that sounds familiar, keep reading.

What Makes This Different
This is a top-10 national lender with the product breadth and infrastructure to back it up — and a culture that has quietly become one of the best-kept retention stories in the industry. Great Place to Work certified. Recognized by National Mortgage News as one of the best mortgage companies to work for. The president of retail knows branch managers by first name. Monthly company meetings exist. Mandatory weekly check-ins do not. Producers are trusted to produce.

Two Models. You Choose.
For LOs who want to focus on closing loans: a straightforward W-2 path with full support, competitive pricing, and no noise.

For LOs who want to run their own operation: a P&L model that lets you set your own margins, manage your own expenses, and own your own profit. Most lenders don't offer this on a W-2 basis. This one does.

New to the platform? Licensing transitions are handled through a temporary branch attachment — you're connected to an established branch, loans close, and you're earning within your first 30 days. No income gap.

The Role
This position is responsible for proactively soliciting new residential mortgage clients while building and cultivating a strong referral network. Day to day, that means:
Developing new business through relationships with realtors, builders, and banking partners. Analyzing borrower financial and credit data to determine creditworthiness and identify the right product fit. Reviewing loan applications and supporting documentation against investor guidelines. Advising clients on the advantages and tradeoffs of available mortgage products. Coordinating with in-house support staff and external service providers to facilitate timely closings. Staying current on CE requirements, local real estate trends, and industry developments. Originating loans in all states of active licensure.

Qualifications
Active mortgage origination experience is required. Candidates should bring familiarity with mortgage processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements, along with strong financial analysis skills and the ability to communicate complex loan scenarios clearly to clients, support staff, and management. An established referral network within the real estate or mortgage industry is a meaningful differentiator. Ability to pass a required background check.

What This Role Requires
Active mortgage origination experience and a production history you're proud of — this lender runs a direct pro forma comparing your current rate sheet to theirs, so the numbers speak for themselves. All production levels are considered. If you're a Branch Manager or Regional Manager with LOs who would follow you, that conversation moves to the front of the line.

What's Included
W-2 employment. Full benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match. P&L model available. President's Club — top producers are flown annually to a new destination. Income within 30 days of start.
