Job Description:
As a monitor technician, your work is vital with monitoring patients’ heart performance and checking for any abnormalities, such as irregular heartbeats, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest. Your position as a monitor tech, plays an important role in the care of patients and healthcare providers by consistently interpreting test results and reporting those results to the healthcare personnel team. You will routinely monitor patients, review patient charts, send charts after to medical records after discharge
You will have daily interaction with patients and other healthcare personnel
Consistently, accuracy and timeliness are extremely important in this role, you will be transcribing physician orders 100% of the time plus alerting nursing to STAT and NOW orders
